For the creation of the content of this handmade book I used a surreal style. In this world deer can talk, two deer can move exactly the same, like shadows, and roots of plants can grow in their veins.

 

At the same time, this is connected to the theme of Ecosystem fictions. I focused on the deer and wanted to explore the relationship between animals as part of the ecosystem and us as humans. The "edge of the forest" is mankind, a highway in particular, where they meet their death. The deer here have vines growing out of their bodies, indeed because of the death of their other selves, and it is mankind that is causing all of this.

 

On the other hand, my work is also related to the theme of Art and the animal. I have used the perspective and logic of animals to embody their stories because of us. But instead of standing up for humans or any theme to criticize all the stories and tragedies, I just let it happen.
